Howdy, this is top of the line for bowie collecotr or historian. Thsi is 12 1/2 inches of classic elegance. The bowie has the classic blade with a saber line and double swedge beautifully done. The 8 1/4 inch blade has the etch g. Wostenholm & son washington works sheffield in htree lines.

The ricasso has a huge i-xl etch that is heavily struck. Translated to mean i excell, in reference to the quality and workmanship of this piece. 4 1/2 inch english two piece stag handles with four pins on each side and a pointed bar shield.

The german silvre guard and handle which is framework pinned to the tang. Teh sheath is nickel and well sewn leather with the belt holder. The sheath is nice but it is newer made and holds the knife evry securely. Very snug fit.
