Superb Antique Islamic Persian Knife Dagger 1850 Tribal

The workmanship is outstanding. The blade is very (very) sharp and has etched and engraved designs upon the re-enforcing rib along the back. The metal work on the handle is similarly engraved and the base of the handle has a skull cracking stud protruidng from it.

This was clearly a knife that meant business! It has a nice old patina to it and the naimal material on the handle is in good condition with no splits or repairs. I do not know its exact origins, but it has an islamic, persian, or middle eastern look about it to me. This is a great vintage dagger and it would make a fine addition to any collection.
